Crossroads (Fal car ragh)

Crossroads
is a place, usually a rural community at the intersection of two main roads.  It's a place where different things come together: roads from and paths to merge, ideas and languages blend, people and cultures intermingle. It's a place to exchange, trade goods, or ask for directions. Often in the town center, there is a meeting place, a public square that hosts leisure and informal talk.  People talk about ideas never heard back in the farmhouse or even the traveler's hometown.  It is a place, but not a destination, just a stop along the way.

Crossroads
is also a time, a decisive moment, a turning point.  Sometimes called the zero hour, important changes and major decisions are made.  It can be a time of crisis.  For those who abide in the heat, who forego the seductive quick fix, it can be a time of rebirth when persons and groups remake themselves.
